RESPONSIBILITIES:       

  • Keep track of daily logs and create a filing system for Project Management documents
  • Create agendas and take meeting minutes and distribute.
  • Log and track submittals (create spreadsheets)
  • Receive and distribute submittals to and from subcontractors, suppliers and Architects and Engineers.
  • Log and track change directives or change orders to and from contractors and owners
  • Any other administrative duties as required

Responsible for oversight of all functional areas of Conventional Steel, but not limited to; Communication with steel manager, crew members, fellow steel foremen and other sub-contractors; Oversee the daily production and progress while maintaining the quality of the construction project; Must have the ability to lead, guide and motivate crew members; Ability to effectively communicate with a diverse group of individuals; Must possess strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a timely manner; Ability to work in a fast paced environment; Possess conflict resolution skills and knowledge of investigation techniques to resolve concerns/complaints. Organize, plan and delegate the daily work duties of crew.

Set priorities for construction workers and understand construction specifications and timeline.

Ensure work is being completed in a timely manner.

Evaluate new construction industry practices.

Daily maintenance checks of construction equipment and/ or machinery.

Adapt to various heights and elevations – ground and in air.

Able to work in adverse weather conditions – heat, rain, snow and wind.

Must be willing to work out of state regularly
