History
70 years in business…a
company you can rely upon.
Founded in 1938 by the Lamar family, Lamar Construction
through the years has grown to become one of
the leading construction firms in Western Michigan.
Well-known for our general contracting of commercial,
industrial, and municipal projects as well as
facility maintenance and steel erection we attribute
our success to our core philosophy of exceeding
our customer’s expectations.
In the past 70-some years, we have encountered
virtually every challenge- demanding schedules,
changes in project scope due to owner requests,
complex designs, and new or unusual building
materials. Today, with approximately 100 trained
professionals on staff we seek to put our experience
to work for you.
