Lamar Construction broke ground in July 2005 on the new 80,000+ square foot Northpointe Bank Headquarters in Grand Rapids, MI. This project is heavy precast and conventional steel with an abundance of brick and glass on the exterior. The interior finishes include granite, stone, and fine wood trim. Attention to detail and our expertise in steel and precast influenced the owners of Northpointe to pick Lamar Construction for their project. Having the ability to control the total enclosure of the building saved Northpointe 30 days on the construction schedule, which not only saved money on construction interest, but also allowed them to save money on on-site overhead (general conditions). This schedule also gave them an extra month to generate income at the facility.
