Description:

Leprino Foods (www.leprinofoods.com) is the world's leading producer of mozzarella cheese. In 2005, Leprino selected Lamar Construction to build a two-phase addition to its Allendale, Michigan facility.

This expansion was constructed with 50 ft. pre-cast concrete exterior walls and interior elements designed to meet the strict standards of both the USDA and the State of Michigan. Requirements included the use of acid-resistant floor tiles and stainless steel trim, conduits, ducts, and wrapped columns. Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing installations were done per plans and specifications provided by Leprino.

Lamar Construction precisely coordinated the construction schedule in order to accommodate the time-critical delivery and placement of Leprino's equipment. Furthermore, Lamar Construction managed much of the equipment installations, including those for conveyers, freezers, and storage tanks.
