Design/Build

As the name implies, Design/Build is a construction delivery method that tightly integrates the design and construction processes. Partnering with an architect at the onset of the project, Lamar Construction acts as the client’s single-point contact, from scope definition to project completion.

Particularly well suited for highly time- and budget-sensitive projects, the Design/Build method allows for both fast-track construction (construction can begin while later-stage elements are still being designed) and a significant degree of value-engineering—the process of selecting budget-conscious architectural and mechanical elements during the design and subcontractor bidding phases.

The Design/Build process allows Lamar Construction to provide a guaranteed maximum price (GMP) for the entire project very early in the design phase.
