Lamar Construction adheres to the belief that safety practices should never be sacrificed for production, but rather considered an integral part of quality control, cost reduction, and job efficiency. Every supervisor is responsible for his or her team’s adherence to safety protocol.
Lamar Construction’s Safety Program includes:- A dedicated Safety Director to ensure all OSHA standards are observed.
- Regular job site inspections.
- Heavy equipment certifications for all operators.
- Mandatory safety equipment for all field employees.
- Safety-equipped job trailers.
- First aid and adult CPR training for all employees.
- Monthly safety meetings for all employees.
- Drug and alcohol testing.
