With experience in both fire protection and masonry, Neil joined Lamar in 2011 working in both the facilities maintenance division as well as the pre-engineered division, before becoming part of the estimating team in 2012. As an estimator, he is responsible for understanding the overall scope of a project; preparing the bid package and transmitting it to bidders; following up and keeping contact with subcontractors and vendors; reviewing bid requirements and ensuring their on-time submissions; developing RFI’s; and meeting with Lamar’s project management teams to review project drawings and costs. Neil is currently pursuing his Masters degree in business administration from Western Michigan University, and will complete his degree in 2013.
